  • First Homeowner Board of Directors!

    December 16, 2016

Congratulations! On December 13, 2016, members of the Abbey Moor of Trophy Club HOA elected their first homeowner Board of Directors, thus transitioning from a developer community to a homeowner-run HOA. Previous to this, the HOA had one resident – Larry Vowell – who served as the sole homeowner on the developer board. Abbey Moor also had a very vibrant Advisory Committee who created a foundation for establishing protocols, special events, welcome packages, Yard-of-the-Month and communication tools in which to embrace all homeowners. This Committee of volunteers contributed a lot of time, effort, and commitment to neighbors over the past four years. It is important to show these volunteer neighbors the appreciation they deserve: Brenda Vowell, president; Pam Pipkin, secretary and landscape chair; Catherine Ball, social chair; and Angie Glueck, welcome chair. These neighbors established the groundwork for all future endeavors for your community.
